Matthew Bernard
Matt was first introduced to Dungeons & Dragons in an off campus apartment during college. They didn’t roll dice but instead described their actions for the DM to determine success or failure. He vaguely remembers getting a baby dragon and becoming part elemental, all he knows for sure was that it was awesome. Later, when he started playing 4E, shortly after it’s released, was when he really fell in love. Since then he’s played 3.5, 5e, AD&D, Pathfinder, and many Role Playing Games not related to D&D. His preferences lean more toward the Sci-Fi and that’s the setting that he is currently running using the Stars Without Numbers (“SWN”) rules set. When he’s not playing D&D or prepping for his SWN campaign he’s can be found enjoying board games with friends, PC games, and traveling.
Abe Warpinksi
Abe is a long time fan of D&D starting way back with his first read through of the Dragonlance novels. He has both played and DM in a wide variety of game systems, including D&D 3.5, 4E, 5E, Traveller, Dresden Files, and many others. He constantly tries to get out from behind the screen but always finds himself sneaking back there. One night he had the crazy idea to make this podcast, trying to capture the interesting talks he would have with John and Matt after game sessions. He instantly regretted that, as he has to edit them. In his free time, he is an avid video game player, miniature war gamer, and sports fan, proudly supporting all the Wisconsin sports teams.
John Mussatti
John is on the council as a long time DM, his games in the past primarily include one or both of the other members of the council. He’s been running games for more than ten years now. The idea of the podcast was brought to him by Abe as an effect of spending many hours after D&D sessions talking about the game. His background in acting brings to life the characters he plays, as a DM and player.
